At 10:30 today, it’s Tunes and Tales at the Basalt Regional Library, a free and fun program for children over 3 accompanied by an adult. Listen to enchanting stories along with classical favorites performed by AMFS students...

A free Spotlight recital takes place at noon today in the Aspen Chapel. Hear top student talent in a wide variety of repertoire in a beautiful and intimate setting.
 
At 1pm, Grammy-nominated violinist Robert McDuffie will present a master class in Harris Concert Hall.
 
Round up the kids and head over to Castle Creek 1 on the Bucksbaum Campus at 4:30 today for Peanut Butter and Jam, an interactive way for children of all ages to learn about the orchestra and how each instrument “jams.”
 
Founded in 1960 and in residence at Aspen every summer since 1970, the American Brass Quintet returns to Harris Concert Hall tonight at 7:30 for a recital including works by Ferrabosco/Holborne/Dowland, a world premiere by Robert Paterson, and pieces by Nina C. Young and Lutoslawski.
