Tuesday, the Aspen Historical Society presents “Conversations with Herbert Bayer And Fabi Benedict.” It’s a part of their Time Travel Tuesdays series. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. in the Wheeler Opera House lobby.
Thursday, Batch in downtown Carbondale holds an opening reception for “The Art of Cool,” an exhibit for local artist Chad Stieg. The event begins at 6 p.m.
Also Thursday, the Temporary presents a Valentine’s Day show with Comedian Adam Cayton-Holland. Doors open at 7 p.m.
An exhibition of works from Brazilian artists Hugo Franca and Thiago Rocha Pitta open at the Boesky West gallery in Aspen on Friday. An opening reception begins at 5 p.m.
Friday, Sopris Theatre Company’s production of the comedy “The Nerd” starts its run at CMC Spring Valley. The show runs through February 24, with performances at 7 p.m on Friday and Saturday evenings, and a 2 p.m. matinee on Sundays.
Saturday, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet performs a program of fan favorites from their repertoire, including works from choreographers Alexander Ekman and Jorma Elo. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Aspen District Theatre.
Magician Jason Bishop performs at the Wheeler on Sunday. Shows start at 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
