Welcome to another week in the Roaring Fork Valley! This is Week in the Arts, a curated list of upcoming exhibitions and events.
Colorado Mountain College Aspen will host an artists’ reception for “Superstratum” on Wednesday, featuring the work of four Roaring Fork Valley artists. Works on display include ceramics, paintings, prints and mixed media. The event starts at 5 p.m. at the CMC Aspen Art Gallery, with an artists’ talk beginning at 6 p.m.
Thursday and Friday, Phoenix-based indie-folk group The Senators plays at Steve's Guitars in Carbondale. The show starts at 8:30 p.m.
The Wheeler Opera House presents the The Doo Wop Project on Saturday. The group performs everything from The Temptations and The Four Seasons to Michael Jackson and Maroon 5. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
