Monday and Tuesday, performer Nina Gabienelli returns to Thunder River Theatre in Carbondale with a new cabaret called “Polka Dots and Moonbeams.” The show begins at 7:30 p.m. both evenings.
Mountain Fair returns Friday through Sunday in downtown Carbondale. This year’s theme is “Rainbow Connection.” The festival features art, live music and friendly competitions for everything from pie baking to wood splitting.
Saturday and Sunday, the documentary “Samuel Barber: Absolute Beauty” screens as a part of the Pitkin County Library’s cinema series. The film explores the life of the American composer. The screening begins at 7:30 p.m. both evenings, as well as a 4:00 p.m. matinee on Saturday.
