Amb. Chris Hill Discusses US-North Korea Relations

The U.S.-North Korean summit this summer was unprecedented. But did it lead to North Korea winding down their nuclear program? Chris Hill, a former ambassador to South Korea, says no; even though North Korea isn’t in the headlines right now, the regime is still a threat.

Ambassador Chris Hill represented the U.S. in talks about North Korean nuclear weapons. He spoke with reporter Christin Kay about why he still sees the regime as a serious threat to the U.S. and about diplomacy’s place in US foreign relations today.

Hill presents “Reflections on North Korea” at the Temporary on Thursday.
