Ballot language for Garfield and Eagle counties is in

Eagle County

There’s an election coming up in November, and, across Garfield and Eagle counties, voters will decide on everything from pot taxes to historic preservation.

As far as big-ticket items go, Garfield County is asking voters to approve a mill levy, which would help fund the county’s existing historical societies.

Voters in Eagle County will decide if they want to allow the county to provide broadband services. Other towns and counties, including Garfield,  have already done this. The question is whether or not to opt out of Senate Bill 152.

All the ballot language was due Friday Sept. 8. Now, the clerks’ offices will arrange the ballot, which will be mailed by the middle of October.
