Artspace Releases Results Of Survey On Affordable Housing For Carbondale Artists

Tom Hacker

Carbondale artists say they need affordable housing and studio space to help them stay in town. Nonprofit Artspace is working with the town and the creative district to buy land and build units. They’ve surveyed local artists on their housing needs. On Tuesday, Artspace presented the results to the town’s board of trustees.

Arts and culture reporter Christin Kay sat down with Zoe Rom to discuss the survey results and next steps for the affordable housing project.
