McCloskey Speaker Series 2019: A Nation of Weavers

davidbrooks_pic.jpg

Featuring David Brooks, executive director of Weave: The Social Fabric Project at The Aspen Institute, op-ed columnist for The New York Times, and author of The Second Mountain in conversation with Dan Porterfield, president and CEO of The Aspen Institute.

The Weave program was founded out of a response to the social fragmentation in our nation, where feelings of distrust, loneliness, division and exclusion are prevalent. Weave aims to illuminate the work of individuals across the country who are making tremendous strides in their communities toward re-connection and relationship building.
