Nov 15 Saturday
Opening to the public Saturday, November 15
One of the most vibrant events that happens in the gallery each year is Deck the Walls Holiday market, featuring more than 50 local and regional artisans and small businesses. It’s an amazing opportunity to shop local and small, supporting our local creative economy, with an excellent variety of quality, handmade gifts.
Carbondale Arts members can enjoy first dibs at the member preview and mingle on November 14 from 5-7 pm. We offer extended hours for Deck the Walls shopping, open Monday-Saturday 10 am-5 pm and Sundays 11 am-4 pm (starting November 30). The market will be closed November 26-27 and open again for Black Friday, November 28. Keep an eye out for additional special activations throughout the season!
Learn to sew with Stella and Jennifer! Join them for a hands-on workshop covering the basics of sewing and sewing machine use.
First Hour: Learn sewing machine fundamentals and gain confidence using one independently. Second Hour: Practice simple clothing repairs and get answers to your sewing questions.
The Library also offers sewing machines for checkout—pick them up at the Redstone Inn and use them at home through the Redstone Holds Program.
