We will demystify the growing process by teaching you how to determine the proper time to plant, ground preparation and watering, staking and pinching, tuber harvesting and dividing, winter storage, how to take cuttings, how to pot and pre-sprout to ensure proper bloom time.

Join us for a relaxed, evening figure drawing session open to all levels. Work from a live model while exploring gesture, proportion, anatomy, and expressive mark-making through timed poses—from quick sketches to longer studies. This monthly class offers a supportive, community-focused space to practice, experiment, and strengthen observational drawing skills. Light instruction and guidance will be available, making it perfect for beginners and experienced artists who want to draw regularly and stay inspired.

The Claudette Carter ARTMentorship (CCAM) is a free five-month program that connects aspiring young artists with experienced local mentors to explore the value of the artistic process. The program culminates in a group exhibition at the Art Base.
CCAM is open to high school sophomores, juniors, seniors, and homeschool students. Each mentor-mentee pair works together to build strong communication skills, solve creative challenges, and, most importantly, make art!

We will be taking the first flowers of this season (daffodils) and blending them with the last flowers of last season (dried florals). Master sustainable mechanics and create a beautiful arrangement that you can take home and enjoy.
